Who Am I?
My name is Doug Knight and I am a nature photographer.
I have worked in this industry for over 25 years, working for many major textbook and journal publishers. I did my first work for McGraw Hill in 1985 for their highschool textbook Introduction to Biology and I have continued to take photos for that textbook for the next 25 years. I am also part of the Australian Photographers Alliance and the International Photographers Alliance.
Passions and Influences.
My favourite subjects to photograph are birds. I am an avid bird photographer. However, I am heavily influenced by several photographers including: Annie Leibovitz, Henri Cartier-Bresson and Joe Resenthal.
